Can you change or cancel Studio Tour tickets?
By Studio Ticket Watch editorial team · Reviewed 2026-08-27
Standard tickets are non-refundable, but the Studio Tour currently allows a date change before the visit for a £10 administration fee, subject to availability. Group tickets are excluded and are non-amendable and non-refundable. Contact Visitor Services with the booking reference rather than buying a replacement first.
Date changes depend on new availability
The official ticket FAQ says a standard booking can be moved for a £10 administration fee when Visitor Services receives the request before the visit date. The new date and time must still have capacity. A preferred sold-out slot cannot be created by paying the fee, and a monitor cannot alter an existing order.
Keep the booking reference ready and contact the Studio Tour through its published route. Confirm the revised date, time, party, and any new confirmation before changing travel.
Refunds and group tickets have stricter limits
The Studio Tour describes admission tickets as non-refundable. Its current FAQ also states that group tickets are non-amendable and non-refundable. Do not infer a cancellation right from another attraction, package provider, insurer, or old forum post.
If admission sits inside a hotel or transfer package, read that provider’s package terms: the package relationship can differ from direct admission. Ask the named provider which element can change and what evidence it will issue.
Adding people is a separate capacity check
If the same date and time is available, the official FAQ says you may make another booking or contact Visitor Services. When the time is sold out, capacity limits mean extra visitors cannot simply be added. Children aged four and under still need a free ticket; contact the venue before visiting if one was omitted.
An availability alert is useful only for a new official opening. It does not attach tickets to an order, refund the original purchase, or hold a slot while the group decides.
Keep the alert and ticket transactions separate
Pay the official provider only for admission and use its confirmation as the final record of the booking. A monitoring charge pays only for repeated availability checks and an email signal. It does not create a reservation, change an existing order, validate visitor eligibility, or guarantee that checkout will succeed. Keeping the two transactions separate makes support, refunds, and responsibility much easier to understand.
