The independent-travel route

The official travel page identifies Watford Junction as the nearest station. Direct trains from London Euston can take about 20 minutes, followed by an approximately 15-minute Studio Tour shuttle. Build in time for the station, bus queue and entry checks.

Independent travel gives you more control over departure time. Check current rail information separately on the day because engineering work and service disruption sit outside the Studio Tour’s control.

What a transfer package changes

The Studio Tour lists a preferred partner for central-London ticket-and-transfer packages. These combine transport and admission under package-specific terms. Confirm the pickup point, check-in deadline, return departure, baggage rules and usable time inside.

Compare total cost, not the first number

Add rail fares, local transport and any priority parking to direct admission. For a package, check booking fees and whether the quoted price matches your party. A package can be convenient without being the cheapest.

Check the exact ticket

A transfer-only product assumes you already hold admission. A ticket-and-transfer product should explicitly include it. Do not buy based on a bus image or a vague attraction name; read the inclusion list and booking confirmation.

When sold-out dates complicate the choice
